MINDS is the project's lead partner for advanced environmental modelling and digital decision-support tools that underpin ecosystem-based fisheries management. It develops integrated hydrodynamic, ecosystem and microplastic transport models, operational fish stock forecasting services, and decision-support platforms that combine environmental, fisheries and pollution data to support sustainable fisheries management, Marine Protected Areas, Fisheries Restricted Areas, and adaptive management across the Mediterranean. Through these activities, MINDS translates scientific knowledge into operational tools that enhance sustainable fisheries, biodiversity conservation and resilience of marine ecosystems.

Meet the Team

George Triantafyllou - Is a co-founder and shareholder of MINDS Technologies & Environmental Sciences and Research Director at the Institute of Oceanography of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR).
