LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY (LJMU)

LJMU leads WP2: Improved Fisheries Observing System for Impact Assessment, which develops a comprehensive understanding of marine biodiversity and ecosystem conditions across Mediterranean and Macaronesian fishing grounds. This work combines archive data mining, citizen and participatory science, and advanced molecular techniques to generate high-quality, open-access data that supports predictive modelling and evidence-based fisheries management.

In addition to leading WP2, LJMU supports the project coordination, fisheries management tools, policy uptake, and communication activities.
